Every now and then an event comes around that is like nothing we've ever done before. The Gathering at French Creek is a festival that celebrates the history of Union City as being a popular gathering place throughout time. We were invited by Captain Doug Taylor of Cushing's Battery. This was our first living history and we were surrounded by French and Indian, and Civil War soldiers!
